 If you would like to be in the Real Presence of Jesus and visit with Him either for an Hour; or be a substitute, please call Marge Della Villa at 967-0641 or Bill Savage at 944-2584.  TIMES ADORERS NEEDED:  Sunday 12 noon - 1PM, Friday 7AM-8AM, 10AM-11AM, 12 Noon-1PM.

A Reminder to All Who Use the Chapel:

The Chapel is a place for quiet prayer and to visit with the Lord.  Conversation with other adorers should take place outside of the chapel.  Thank you for your kind consideration.  Attention should be given when one makes his/her Holy Hour.  The Perpetual Adoration Chapel NEEDS SOMEONE PRESENT AT ALL TIMES.  The importance of calling when unable to keep your assigned hour cannot be stressed enough - consideration for the adorer whose hour is finished is equally important.  PLEASE call Marge Della Villa at 967-0641 or Bill Savage at 944-2584 so a substitute can be arranged when the need arises.

COMMUNION TO THE SICK

If you are a parishioner of St. Mel's Parish and you or a member of your family needs Communion brought to him/her because of illness, please contact the Parish Office at 967-1229.

THEFT ACTIVITY IN CHURCH PARKING LOT

Please remember not to leave your valuables, your purse or anything in your car that might tempt someone to break in.  There was a break in last Sunday during Mass.

St. Mel's Parish May Crowning

Please join us on Monday, May 12th, 7PM the eve of the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, for this wonderful way to honor Our Blessed Mother.

All parishioners are welcome to participate in the recitation  of the rosary in the church, followed by the crowning of Our Lady, a candlelight procession and Benediction. Third grade parishioners please wear your First Holy Communion clothes and sit in the reserved seating area.  Fr. McSweeney, Fr. Folmer and Fr. Snyder encourage everyone to participate in this joyous occasion honoring Mary, Our Blessed Mother.

SHRED DAY ON MAY 24 AT ST. MEL

St. Vincent de Paul will be holding their Annual Shred Day on May 24.  On site shredding will be provided in the lower parking lot from 8am to 12 noon.  Don't be a victim of identity theft - SHRED!!  Your support is appreciated.

ATTENTION ALL TEENS!!!

St. Mel's Youth Ministry is reaching out for some, adult advisors, to work with our young people, and to help coordinate the program.  Parents, of current members of the youth group, or other adults interested in becoming advisors and working with the program, please call the parish office to leave your name and number.
