The Knights of Columbus is the largest Catholic Fraternal Men's Organizations with almost 2 million members worldwide.

Our belief in charity and faith is the basis of the organization.

The list below is the tally of donations and volunteer hours donated by our council in 2008.
$12,000.00 in charitable disbursements to St. Mel's, community and youth.
11,528 hours of volunteer work for the Church and community.

We also have events for our families such as a council picnic in July and our Council Christmas party.

Every year we hold a Religious Appreciation Dinner to thank the religious of our Parish.

The insurance portion of our order is one of the top insurance companies in the world.

If you are interested in working with fellow Catholic gentlemen in an enjoyable and spiritual atmosphere then the Knights of Columbus is the type of organization that might fit your needs.

On January 16th and 17th, please see the Knights representative in the vestibule at the rear of the church after Mass.  He will be happy to answer your questions and help you fill out an application.
